Diversity Equity Inclusion Mission Statement

From The Film Ohio  Board of Directors,

The board  is dedicated to facilitating an inclusive and equitable atmosphere for all members. Members of Film Ohio will not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, or political affiliation.

Film Ohio is answering the call of many members and the society at large to address inclusion and diversity within our corner of the industry. We will take an intersectional approach to address systemic biases and will further work to amplify the voices of those who have not previously been given a platform to do so.

Film Ohio also hopes to accomplish this goal through education, events, partnerships, outreach, support, exposure, and creating best practices, amongst others and fully supports People of Color (POC), LGBTQ+ and other minority communities.

The Board and members welcome the voices of our membership and invites input and ideas. As we crescendo, its nascent efforts into a progressive taskforce in the coming months, members are welcome and encouraged to participate, to offer support, and to be part of the solution with us.
